Why is 1500 mm the right width for a double-basin vanity in Chile?

Because 1.5 m is the practical minimum for two people to use the basin at the same time — roughly 750 mm of counter per person. Below that the two users crowd each other. This unit is built specifically at that width, and the same programme covers 1200–1800 mm so you can quote compact apartments and family houses from one supplier with matching finish language.

Why drawers on both sides of the siphon instead of doors?

A centred drain removes the middle of the cabinet, so doors leave a dead cavity behind them. Drawer banks either side of the plumbing zone plus a flip-down front under each basin keep that volume usable for everyday bottles and cleaning kits — the most functional layout for organising two people's personal items, and the reason it has become the standard 2026 double-vanity configuration.

Will a warm-oak cabinet survive a humid or coastal Chilean bathroom?

Yes. The body is waterproof plywood with moisture-sealed edges to an IP44-rated splash standard per IEC 60529, so steam and daily humidity will not cause edge swelling or delamination. Warm oak grain in matte is the volume finish, with matte lacquer and accent tones such as mineral green and soft terracotta available on OEM orders.
