800 mm Ivory Matt Waterproof-Plywood Vanity Unit with Mirrored Cabinet

UK bathrooms are among the smallest in Europe, and the 2026 specification reflects it: the 600–800 mm wall-hung unit is the volume format, matt finishes outsell gloss, and soft-close hardware is assumed rather than sold as an upgrade. The one thing British buyers will not compromise on is water resistance — a build that survives a windowless en-suite instead of swelling behind the doors after a season of shower steam. This 800 mm unit is engineered to that brief. The carcass is exterior-grade waterproof plywood, 18 mm panels with sealed edges and a moisture-resistant back panel, and the fronts are ivory matt lacquer with a PU exterior over a melamine interior — the finish family that hides finger marks and hard-water spotting far better than gloss, and the tone that has taken over from stark white in UK specification. Two doors run on 304-grade stainless-steel soft-close hinges, with Blum hardware available on request. The basin is a one-piece glazed ceramic bonded directly into the cabinet top, so there is no counter to template on site and no silicone seam where water sits; the recessed open shelf below the basin deck keeps a hand towel within reach in a room with no floor space to spare. The front can be supplied handleless on the same carcass for the flush look most UK retailers now show. The matching mirrored wall cabinet hangs at the same width and ships as one set SKU with the vanity, and the complete 600 / 700 / 800 / 900 mm width run is produced in one programme from our 20,000 m² factory, against the same export standard we supply to the world's top-10 building-material brands.

  • 800 mm (31.5″) wall-hung format inside a 600 / 700 / 800 / 900 mm width run — 600–700 mm covers UK cloakrooms and en-suites, 800–900 mm fits family bathrooms, all built in one programme
  • Exterior-grade waterproof plywood carcass — 18 mm panels with sealed edges and a moisture-resistant back panel, which is what stops the most common UK failure: a back panel that swells behind the doors in a windowless en-suite
  • Ivory matt lacquer fronts, PU exterior over a melamine interior — the tone that has displaced stark white in UK specification, in a finish that hides finger marks and hard-water spotting far better than gloss
  • One-piece glazed ceramic basin bonded into the cabinet top — no counter to template on site, no stone fabricator, and no silicone seam where water and cleaning residue collect
  • Recessed open shelf below the basin deck keeps a hand towel or soap within reach in rooms with no floor space to spare
  • 304-grade stainless-steel soft-close hinges as standard; Blum soft-close hinges and slides available on request
  • Slim brushed stainless-steel bar pulls as standard, with a handleless push-open front available on the same cabinet for the flush look UK retailers show
  • Matching mirrored wall cabinet at the same width — 4 mm mirror glass in an ivory matt frame, shipped as one set SKU with the vanity
  • Slim 500 mm depth with a compact rear service void sized for standard UK pipework and a 32 mm waste; single-hole faucet drilling standard with a 3-hole option for UK mixer sets
  • Flat-pack export cartons container-optimised for UK ports with corner guards and a mounting template in every unit; MOQ 20 pcs per model, with sample orders welcome before production

Product FAQ

Why waterproof plywood rather than MDF for a UK bathroom?
Plywood is a cross-layered veneer panel, so it resists the swelling and edge-crumbling that MDF shows when a windowless en-suite stays humid or a leak goes unnoticed for a few weeks — the failure mode behind most warranty returns in this category. We use exterior-grade plywood with waterproof adhesive, sealed edges and a moisture-resistant back panel, so the panel holds its dimensions through container transit and a humid service life. MDF stays available for dry-area cloakrooms and price-driven programmes where the buyer has made that trade-off deliberately.
Does the unit fit standard UK pipework and a 32 mm waste?
Yes. The cabinet is 500 mm deep with a rear service void for supply lines and the trap, and we publish the drainage and fixing positions with every quotation so your installer can check them against the existing rough-in before ordering. UK pipework and a 32 mm waste are the default our depth is sized around; because the unit floats, the waste can run to the wall or drop through the floor inside the service void.
Is the basin really one piece — will I need a stone fabricator?
No fabricator needed. The glazed ceramic basin is bonded into the cabinet top at our factory and the faucet holes are drilled to your specification before packing, so the unit arrives as a finished top-and-basin assembly. Your side only hangs the cabinet on the bracket and connects supply and waste — no counter cut-out to template and no silicone seam between basin and counter for water and cleaning residue to collect in.
Can we have the same unit in the smaller 600 mm cloakroom size?
Yes. The 600 / 700 / 800 / 900 mm widths share the same carcass construction, front family, basin type and hardware, so a UK programme can mix cloakroom, en-suite and family-bathroom sizes on a single order with matching fronts and mirrored cabinets throughout.
Do you offer a handleless version?
Yes — the same carcass runs with a push-open shadow-gap front instead of bar pulls, which is the format most UK retailers now display. Tell us which doors should be handleless and we will confirm the opening clearance and the reinforcement detail on the shop drawing.
What is the MOQ and how does sampling work?
Our MOQ is 20 pieces per model, with sample orders welcome for pre-production evaluation. Cartons are flat-pack and container-optimised for UK ports, and we quote the complete 600–900 mm width run and the matching mirrored cabinets in a single programme.
