800mm Oak Matt-Lacquer Wall-Hung Vanity — Made for Compact French Bathrooms

French bathrooms are the tightest in Western Europe, and 2026 specification shows it: the 700–800 mm floating cabinet is what actually fits a city apartment, and matt lacquer has replaced high gloss almost everywhere. This 800 mm unit answers that brief directly — a wall-hung body with two handleless light-oak drawer fronts in a low-sheen matt lacquer, a 20 mm square-edge stone top, and a shallow rectangular white ceramic basin set flush into the counter so there is no joint line for limescale to collect in. A slim brushed-nickel single-lever mixer sits at the back-left, and the anti-fog LED mirror ships in the same set SKU. Nothing is left on the floor, which is still the single biggest ask from buyers refurbishing older French apartments with small salles de bain. Built in our 20,000 m² factory to the same export standard we supply the world's top-10 building-material brands.

  • 800 mm wall-hung format — the width French apartment bathrooms actually specify, inside a size run that also covers 600, 700, 1000 and 1200 mm, so a whole programme comes from one supplier with matching fronts and tops
  • Matt-lacquer light-oak fronts instead of high gloss — the low-sheen finish that has taken over French interiors, with a fine straight grain and finger-mark hiding surface
  • Handleless push-open drawer fronts with a slim horizontal shadow gap — no handles to snag in a narrow bathroom and no drilling through the front face
  • Integrated white glazed ceramic basin set flush into the 20 mm square-edge stone top — no joint line between basin and top, no countertop fabrication at destination, and far less limescale build-up than an inset rim
  • Slim brushed-nickel single-lever mixer at the back-left of the basin; brushed brass, matt black and chrome alternatives on the same fixing
  • Two soft-close drawers on full-extension damped runners with an internal divider set; Blum soft-close hinges and slides optional
  • Frameless anti-fog LED mirror with touch switch and 3 colour temperatures, shipped as one set SKU together with the cabinet, top and basin
  • Floating wall-hung installation with concealed bracket and fixing kit supplied — floor left completely clear, which matters most in the 4–6 m² bathrooms typical of French city apartments
  • Moisture-resistant plywood body with sealed edges and a low-emission panel option for EU programmes; full PVC waterproof body available for wet-room and short-let use
  • Flat-pack export cartons container-optimised for Le Havre and Marseille, with corner guards and a mounting template per unit; MOQ 20 pcs per model with sample orders welcome

Product FAQ

Why is 800 mm the right width for a French apartment bathroom?
It is the largest single-basin width that still leaves a usable circulation gap in the 4–6 m² bathrooms common in French city apartments, and it is wide enough for a proper 500 mm basin without crowding the door swing. 600–700 mm covers the tightest salles de bain and powder rooms; 1000 mm and above is normally a house or a hotel programme. All of these widths are produced in one run with matching fronts and tops, so you can quote mixed sizes without mixing suppliers.
Why choose an integrated ceramic basin instead of a countertop vessel?
A flush integrated basin removes the joint between basin and countertop. In hard-water areas that joint is where limescale and soap residue collect first, and it is the detail buyers complain about after a year of use. It also means the top arrives finished — there is no countertop cutting, no silicone joint to redo on site, and the flat surface is quicker to wipe down, which matters in a small bathroom with limited storage.
Is matt lacquer oak harder to maintain than gloss?
The opposite in practice. A low-sheen lacquer surface scatters light instead of reflecting it, so water spots, finger marks and the fine scratches that appear on any gloss front are far less visible day to day. Cleaning is a damp cloth with a mild soap; avoid abrasive cream cleaners and alcohol-based sprays, which dull any lacquered surface over time.
Does this cabinet suit older French apartments with uneven walls?
Yes, and that is one reason the floating format works well here. The concealed bracket is adjusted at installation and the cabinet body has a service gap at the rear, so the unit can be levelled against a wall that is out of plumb instead of being forced flat. The mounting template supplied with every unit positions the bracket holes; we also provide the wall-reinforcement specification for stud walls before you order.
What documentation do you supply for EU compliance?
CE marking documentation for the product, ISO9001 quality-management certification, SGS third-party inspection reports and the IP44 splash-resistance test reference (IEC 60529) are all available with your quotation, and certificate scans can be reviewed during a factory audit. Documentation pack contents can be agreed per programme if your importer needs specific files at customs.
What is the MOQ and how does sampling work?
Our MOQ is 20 pieces per model, with sample orders welcome for pre-production evaluation. Cartons are container-optimised for Le Havre, Marseille and Dunkirk, and we quote the complete 600–1200 mm size run, including the 1200 mm double-basin format, in a single programme.
