900mm Oak Wall-Hung Vanity — One-Piece Sintered-Stone Washbasin for German Bathrooms

German bathrooms are built to be used hard and cleaned often, and the 2026 Badmöbel brief reflects it: a compact wall-hung Kommode in warm oak, a washbasin surface that survives daily limescale and abrasive cleaners, and hardware that still closes quietly after ten years. This 900 mm unit answers that brief with a one-piece sintered-stone counter-and-basin: the bowl is formed into the top, so there is no silicone joint between basin and counter for Kalk and soap residue to collect in, and no countertop cutting at destination. The front is a warm natural-oak wood-grain in matt lacquer — low-sheen, finger-mark tolerant, and far closer to German interior specification than high gloss. A single-hole faucet drilling keeps the top clean and takes the standard German Einhebelmischer; two full-extension soft-close drawers run on damped runners, with Blum hardware available on request. The unit floats on a concealed bracket with no floor contact, which is what makes it work in the 4–7 m² Bäder typical of German city apartments and Altbau renovations. Why is a 900 mm wall-hung unit a good fit for German bathrooms?

It is the widest single-basin format that still leaves a clear circulation strip and a comfortable washbasin width in the 4–7 m² Bäder common in German city apartments, and it suits the Altbau renovations where the room is long but narrow. 700–800 mm covers the tightest and smallest Bäder; 1000 mm and 1200 mm are normally house or hotel programmes. All widths run in one programme with matching fronts and tops, so a mixed-size quotation does not mean mixed suppliers.

Why sintered stone instead of a ceramic or quartz washbasin top?

Sintered stone is pressed from mineral powder under high pressure and heat, which makes it markedly harder to scratch and more resistant to stains and heat than quartz composite, and far more tolerant of the acidic limescale cleaners used in hard-water areas than natural stone. Forming the bowl into the same panel removes the joint between basin and counter — the first place Kalk, soap and cleaning residue build up, and the detail that drives complaints after a year of daily use.

Does the wall-hung format work on an older German Altbau wall?

Yes, and it is one reason floating units are specified here. The concealed bracket is adjusted at installation and the cabinet body has a service gap at the rear, so the unit is levelled against a wall that is out of plumb rather than forced flat. A mounting template comes with every unit, and we supply the wall-reinforcement specification for stud and lightweight walls before you order.

What documentation do you provide for the German and EU market?

CE marking documentation for the product, ISO9001 quality-management certification, SGS third-party inspection reports and the IP44 splash-resistance test reference (IEC 60529) are available with your quotation, together with an importer / EU responsible-person documentation pack for programmes that need it. Certificate scans can be reviewed during a factory audit, and the documentation set can be agreed per programme if your importer needs specific files at customs.

Can you match our own front finish and drawer layout?

Yes. We produce the fronts in matt lacquer, wood-grain laminate or PVC membrane to a submitted sample or a colour reference, and the drawer split, internal divider layout and mirror-cabinet interior can all be changed on an OEM order. Send drawings or a sample front and we will confirm the finish and the drawer set before production.

What is the MOQ and how does sampling work?

Our MOQ is 20 pieces per model, with sample orders welcome for pre-production evaluation. Cartons are container-optimised for Hamburg, Bremerhaven and Rotterdam, and we quote the complete 700–1200 mm size run, including the 1200 mm double-basin format, in a single programme.
