700 mm Fluted French Oak Wall-Hung Vanity — Brushed Brass Inlay & One-Piece Integrated Basin

The unit we developed for the French market's most common bathroom: a narrow salle de bain in an older apartment, where 800 mm will not clear the door swing and a flat white box will not sell. Fine vertical reeding in a light French oak tone gives it the cabinetmaker reading French buyers expect, a brushed brass rail replaces the handle entirely, and the countertop and bowl are moulded as one slab so there is no joint line to discolour in a room with no window.

  • Fluted French oak wood-grain front in fine vertical reeding, matt lacquered — reads as a cabinetmaker's piece rather than a flat-panel box
  • Brushed brass full-width inlay rail doubles as the grip and the reveal — handleless, with nothing protruding to catch a towel in a narrow room
  • One-piece integrated solid-surface basin: countertop and bowl moulded as a single slab, so there is no rim or silicone joint line to discolour in a windowless bathroom
  • 700 mm wide and 460 mm deep — the format that clears a door swing and leaves circulation space in a compact salle de bain
  • Single full-width soft-close drawer on full-extension runners, with the siphon recess cut into the drawer back so the waste pipe is never in the way
  • Wall-hung on a concealed steel bracket — the floor stays clear and the room reads larger, which is exactly what a compact Parisian bathroom needs
  • Moisture-resistant sealed plywood body as standard, with a full PVC body available for windowless bathrooms and hotel back-of-house
  • Blum soft-close hinges and runners optional (Hettich / DTC alternatives); matching anti-fog LED mirror cabinet quotable as a complete set

Product FAQ

Why offer a 700 mm width for the French market?
Most French urban bathrooms were not designed around furniture, so the usable wall run is short and the door swing eats into it. 700 mm is the width that clears a door and still leaves room to stand at the basin; we produce 600 / 800 / 900 mm and custom widths from the same tooling, so a distributor can run the whole band in one order.
Is a fluted front practical in a bathroom?
Functionally yes — the reeding sits on a sealed, matt-lacquered front, so it wipes clean with a damp cloth and does not absorb moisture. Be aware of the trade-off: a reeded surface collects dust in the grooves slightly faster than a flat front. Distributors who want the same silhouette without that maintenance point order the identical unit with a smooth oak front.
How does a brass rail replace the handle?
The brushed brass strip runs the full width as a recessed inlay between the drawer front and the fluted face. Your fingers close on the brass, so the unit opens without any handle standing proud of the front — worth having in a narrow room where a protruding knob catches towels, and it is the detail that most often gets this unit specified over a handle-driven design.
Where does the waste pipe go in a 700 mm unit?
Into the siphon recess cut into the drawer back. On a wall-hung installation the trap sits in the space behind and below the cabinet, so the drawer keeps its full usable depth. Send us your plumbing drawing and we will confirm the internal drawer depth for your project before production.
What is the MOQ and lead time?
MOQ is 20 pieces per model, with samples welcome first. Typical production lead time is 30 to 35 days after sample approval, plus sea freight — we quote realistic transit times for Le Havre, Marseille and Fos-sur-Mer so your landed cost is not a surprise.
