Contract Vanity Wall 1200 — One Carcass Platform, Three Widths, Batches That Actually Match

A single bathroom vanity is a design decision. Four hundred of them is a procurement problem, and the problems are always the same four: the second container does not match the first, the 900mm and the 1200mm units in the same building look like they came from different factories, the carcass swells where the shower steam lives, and nobody can tell the site supervisor which door front goes in which apartment. This model is the answer we build for that job. One 1200mm carcass platform, re-cut at 900mm and 1500mm from the same tooling and the same 460mm depth, so a building that mixes one-bed, two-bed and accessible units still reads as one specification. 18mm HMR plywood carcass rather than MDF, because an apartment bathroom with a semi-frameless shower runs at a higher sustained humidity than a house bathroom with a window. 20mm sintered stone top, two rectangular undermount basins on the 1200mm, one on the 900mm, and Blum TandemBox soft-close inside every drawer. The part that decides whether a project actually ships clean is the finish: we hold one approved spray batch reference and one gloss reading for the entire order, and we keep a retained door from that batch so container three can be checked against container one by eye and by gloss meter, not by memory. Flat-packed on pallets with apartment-numbered packs, or assembled and protected for direct distribution to floors. A 20-piece-per-model OEM/ODM programme for developers, joiners and fit-out contractors working on multi-unit residential, student accommodation and Games-linked village conversions.

  • One platform, three widths: the 1200 x 460 x 500mm carcass is the reference, and the 900mm and 1500mm units are cut from the same tooling at the same 460mm depth, so a building with mixed unit types keeps one bench height, one shadow gap and one front rhythm instead of three specifications that nearly match
  • 18mm HMR plywood carcass with sealed edges — not MDF — because a sealed apartment bathroom with a semi-frameless shower holds moisture longer than a house bathroom with a window, and the failure mode of MDF in that room is a swollen bottom rail two winters later
  • Finish locked to one approved batch: a colour panel is signed off once, a gloss reading is recorded, and a retained door from that batch stays with the order file so container two and container three can be verified against container one rather than against a photograph
  • Handleless 18mm fronts with a 6mm recessed finger groove machined before spraying, so there is no handle to re-order, no drilling pattern to get wrong on site and nothing projecting into a 900mm-wide circulation space
  • 20mm sintered stone top with two rectangular undermount basins on the 1200mm and one on the 900mm; tops can be supplied undrilled or drilled to your own basin template if the plumbing package is procured separately
  • Matched 1200 x 150mm shaving cabinet with twin 5mm mirrors, hung on the same centreline as the vanity so the elevation is one line rather than a cabinet and an afterthought; flat-packed with apartment-numbered packs or assembled for direct-to-floor distribution

Product FAQ

Can you supply several hundred identical vanity units for one building?
Yes — that is the specification this model exists for. The constraint is not volume, it is consistency: we approve one colour panel and one gloss reading for the order, retain a door from that batch, and pack in apartment-numbered packs so the site does not have to sort units. Tell us the unit mix (one-bed, two-bed, accessible) and we will map 900 / 1200 / 1500mm quantities against it before quoting.
Why plywood instead of MDF for an apartment project?
Because the room is different. A sealed apartment bathroom with a semi-frameless shower and mechanical ventilation holds moisture longer than a house bathroom with an opening window, and MDF fails at the bottom rail and the back panel edge rather than in the middle of a door. 18mm HMR plywood with sealed edges is the specification we recommend wherever the wet area is enclosed, and it is standard on this model rather than an upgrade.
What happens if the second container does not match the first?
That is exactly the failure the batch control prevents. The approved panel and the retained door travel with the order file, so container two is checked against a physical sample from container one — not against a screen or a memory. If a batch drifts outside the recorded gloss reading, we re-spray before it ships; we do not ship and hope the site does not notice.
Do you supply the tapware and the waste?
No. Tapware, wastes and any plumbing product that requires WaterMark certification in Australia stays with your plumbing supplier, who holds that certification. We supply the cabinet, the top and the basin where specified, and we can supply tops undrilled or drilled to your own basin template so your plumber's set-out governs the hole positions.
Can the units be flat-packed for site assembly?
Yes, and for multi-storey work it is usually the better choice: flat packs move in a goods lift, they stack in a compound without crushing corner posts, and a damaged front can be replaced without scrapping a carcass. We supply the assembly sequence and the fixing schedule with the first delivery, and we can supply assembled units where the contractor prefers to receive finished boxes.
