Wall & Lift-Up Kitchen Cabinets — Soft-Close Flap Doors, Glass and LED Options

The upper run is where a kitchen suddenly looks cheap or looks considered. This program rebuilds the wall units around lift-up flaps: no swinging doors into your face, no handles to line up, and one clean horizontal line right across the run. Flaps ride on soft-close lift gear with the option of gas struts or a motorised drop-down lift, the fronts are handleless by design, and a slim aluminium-frame glass cabinet plus a warm-white LED strip sit on the same carcass and hinge programme as the rest of the kitchen.

  • Wall units with lift-up flap doors — one flap per cabinet, no door swing into the run and no handles to align
  • Soft-close lift gear as standard; gas-strut for light fronts or a motorised drop-down lift for tall or hard-to-reach cabinets
  • Wide cabinets take a single full-width flap on a two-arm lift; narrow cabinets take a one-arm lift — matched to the door width
  • Slim aluminium-frame glass wall cabinet with two adjustable shelves, for glassware and display storage
  • Warm-white (3000 K) LED strip under the wall run, with dimmer and door-switch options
  • Fully handleless fronts — push-open, or a recessed pull profile on the underside of the base units only
  • Carcass in 16–18 mm E1/E0 board or plywood with moisture-sealed edges; doors 18–22 mm
  • KD flat-pack with edge protection, or assembled with protected cornering for container programmes

Product FAQ

Why specify lift-up flaps on wall cabinets instead of ordinary doors?
Because the upper run is the one place you cannot step back from. A hinged door opens into your face and into the worktop zone, and every door needs a handle you then have to align across the whole run. A lift-up flap moves the opening out of the way, removes the handles entirely, and gives the run one unbroken horizontal line. On a wide cabinet the single full-width flap also means one clean front instead of two doors with a gap down the middle.
When should a lift-up flap use a gas strut rather than a motorised lift?
It comes down to weight and reach. A light flap — small, thin, or without a heavy profile — is comfortable on a gas strut or on spring-assisted soft-close gear. Once the flap gets tall, wide or heavy, or once the cabinet is mounted high enough that the user is reaching over their head, a motorised drop-down lift earns its cost: it lowers the shelf or the whole door to a working height and holds a far heavier load than a manual mechanism. We match the mechanism to the cabinet's size and position, so tell us the run length and the mounting height.
Can the glass cabinet and the LED strip be part of the same order?
Yes, and they should be. The aluminium-frame glass cabinet is built on the same carcass programme as the flap units, so the depth, the finish and the mounting line all match. The LED strip runs under the wall run on the same 3000 K output as the glass cabinet lighting, which is why it reads as one designed run rather than two separate purchases. Tell us which cabinets you want lit and we lay out the strip accordingly.
What is the MOQ and can we order a sample first?
Our MOQ is 20 pieces per model, and sample orders are welcome for pre-production evaluation before you commit to a full programme. We run a 20,000 m² factory and have supplied the world's top-10 building-material brands since 2009, so repeat kitchen programmes hold production slots.
