Why is 48 inches the size US buyers ask for in a double-basin vanity?

It is the smallest width that gives two people a usable basin without one person standing in the other's way, and it still fits the standard US master-bath wall run that was framed for a single 36-inch unit. In our US enquiries the 48-inch double has moved from an upgrade line to the default spec on new-build master baths, while 30-inch and 36-inch single-basin cabinets still carry the home-centre volume. We produce 48, 60 and 72 inches from the same tooling, so one order can cover the whole band.

Is the body plywood or particleboard?

Multi-layer solid wood (plywood) with sealed edges is the standard body on this model, and the PVC waterproof version is available for high-humidity and coastal installations. Plywood holds its shape and its screw-holding strength far better than particleboard in a bathroom, which is exactly the question we get asked most often by US importers. We will state the panel and the edge-sealing method in writing on your quotation.

Does the stone top arrive already cut for the basins?

Yes. The sintered-stone slab is cut, mitred and drilled to the basin and faucet layout before packing, so there is no countertop fabrication at destination — a meaningful saving for US importers who would otherwise have to arrange local stone work per unit. Send us your faucet and drain positions at order stage and we will confirm the top drawing before production.

What is the finish on the fluted fronts, and does it smudge?

Warm natural oak wood grain under an anti-fingerprint satin lacquer. Matt finishes on fluted fronts are exactly where handling marks show up first, so this lacquer was specified for the US market rather than a standard matt. The fluted profile is machined as one piece per front, so the reeding stays even across the run instead of drifting from door to door.

What is the MOQ and lead time for a US program?

MOQ is 20 pieces per model, with samples welcome first. Typical production lead time is 30 to 35 days after sample approval, plus sea freight — we quote realistic transit times per US port so your landed cost is not a surprise.
