Sink Base Cabinet — Pull-Out Waste Sorting, Under-Sink Drawers

The sink base is the one base cabinet every kitchen has and almost every kitchen wastes. A standard drawer base cannot go there — the trap and the supply lines own the middle of the box — so it ships as a door and a shelf, and everything a household actually keeps under the sink ends up in a damp pile on the bottom panel. This unit is built around the plumbing instead of in spite of it: a stainless two-bin waste module pulls out on full-extension runners at the bottom, two chrome-wire organiser drawers stack beside the pipe void at heights that clear the trap, and the back of the cabinet stays open so a P-trap can be serviced without emptying the unit. Same 18 mm handleless door and same carcass programme as the rest of the run, so it disappears into the kitchen line.

  • 800 mm under-sink base carcass with the waste module at the bottom and two wire organiser drawers stacked beside the pipe void — usable storage where a standard base gives you a shelf and a draught
  • Stainless two-bin pull-out waste module on full-extension runners with soft-close — wet and dry separation at the counter, and the lid clears under the trap
  • Chrome-wire organiser drawers height-set to clear a standard P-trap, with a sealed service void at the back so the plumbing stays reachable without dismantling the storage
  • 18 mm handleless slab door with a finger-groove top edge; shaker, lacquer, acrylic or PVC-membrane fronts on the same carcass and drilling
  • 16–18 mm E1/E0 board or plywood carcass with moisture-sealed edges — the panel that takes the splashes is the one we seal
  • Adjustable feet and a colour-matched toe kick; the unit lines up with the rest of the base run at 560–580 mm depth
  • Sink cut-out, tap drilling and countertop prepared to your specification — undermount steel, inset ceramic or composite, one tap hole or three
  • Mirrored left- and right-hand layouts from one production set, so a run that turns the sink does not need new tooling
  • KD flat-pack with edge protection; the waste module and runners travel as a separate braced carton so nothing is loaded in transit

Product FAQ

Why specify a dedicated sink base instead of a standard drawer base?
Because a standard drawer base cannot actually be used at the sink. The trap and the supply lines sit in the middle of the box, so the drawer either stops short, ships as a dummy front, or is deleted for a door and a shelf — and the household ends up storing cleaning products in a heap on the bottom panel. A dedicated sink base plans the cavity instead: waste sorting pulls out at the bottom where there is full depth, wire drawers stack to the side of the pipe void at heights that clear the trap, and the back stays open for service. It costs one mechanism more than a shelf and returns the most-used cabinet in the kitchen.
Will the pull-out waste module fit under a standard P-trap?
Yes — that is what the layout is drawn around. The waste module runs at the bottom of the carcass on full-extension runners, below the trap outlet, and the two wire drawers are height-adjustable so they can be set to clear the trap body and the supply valve. Because the module pulls fully out, you load it from the front of the counter rather than reaching into the cabinet, and the service void at the back means a leaking trap can be reached without emptying the storage first. Send us your sink and trap drawing and we set the shelf heights on the production drawing.
What is the difference between the 600, 800 and 900 mm versions?
Width, and how much side storage survives next to the pipe void. At 600 mm the cabinet is essentially the sink, the waste module and one narrow drawer column — the right answer for a compact apartment run. At 800 mm, the standard, you get the waste module plus two wire drawers with real usable width. At 900 mm there is room for a deeper drawer column or a second pull-out. All three use the same carcass, door programme and waste module, so a range quotes as one order rather than three.
What is the MOQ and can we order a sample first?
Our MOQ is 20 pieces per model, and sample orders are welcome for pre-production evaluation before you commit to a full programme. We run a 20,000 m2 factory and have supplied the world's top-10 building-material brands since 2009, so repeat kitchen programmes hold production slots. Tell us the sink, tap and countertop you are pairing with the cabinet and we quote the unit complete with the cut-outs already drilled.
